Shari Skabelund
Shari has coached the Springville Seals since 1980, leading many of her swimmers to top-16 finishes in national age-group competitions and several berths in Junior National competition.  For the last 15 years, she has also been the assistant coach for the women's swim program at BYU.
The first woman swimmer at BYU to complete four years of eligibility, Skabelund won Region 18 titles in the 100-yard individual medley (1978) and the 100-yard butterfly (1980) and qualified for the AIAW nationals in 1979. She was the head coach of both the girls and boys swim teams at Springville High School from 1982-1987. She guided the girls' squad to the state 3A title in 1985 and 1986. In 1987 she led her girls team to a second-place state finish and her boys team to a fourth-place finish.
She is married to Grant Skabelund and they have four children, Analyn, Andrew, Natalya and Joshua.

Tiffany Ensign Clyde
Tiffany began coaching for SSAT in June of 2003, when she & her husband moved from Cache Valley to Payson.  She originally hails from the Chicago area, where she was born & raised.  In Illinois, she was captain of her high school swim team and trained with the prestigious B.R. Ryall (Northwest Dupage) program, where she excelled in the 100 & 200 butterfly as well as distance free.  In 1996 she hung up her goggles in order to focus on academic pursuits at BYU, where she was involved in the Honors Program.  As fate would have it, however, she accepted coaching positions to support herself throughout her college career both in Utah and the Chicago area and discovered a new passion.  In addition to being an assistant coach for SSAT, Tiffany is also the head coach for the Springville High School program.

Tiffany has had experience in coaching swimmers of a wide range of ability levels, from novice swimmers to top-notch elite athletes.  She graduated from Utah State University in Liberal Arts, and when she is not at the pool enjoys drawing, painting, playing the guitar, and gardening.  Tiffany is married to Bryson Clyde, a former Springville Seal & Spanish Fork H.S. State Team alumnus, and together they are the 'parents' of a very spoiled puppy named Domino.
